This is one of my favorite things...an old bottle stamped with the letters New Canaan, Conn. A dear friend gave it to us when we first moved to California. I think Suzanne had one that she put lights in, but it wasn't until a couple of weeks before Christmas when I saw it on Jane's blog that I thought to do the same. I'm going to enjoy this all through the winter in my kitchen. There's just something about the glow of twinkle lights that make everything seem brighter...and 2012 is going to be great, right? |

So so true, Annie...here's to a bright 2012. We made s'mores (from a fancy Bristol Farms kit) at my sister's (over her fire pit) Christmas night. So fun.
ReplyDeleteMmm - marshmallows! :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a great 2012! :-)
It's barely cold enough here for a fire but we lit one anyways! Hope your 2012 is filled with joy and fun!

ReplyDeleteAnnie, sushi doesn't really exist in Scotland - there are one or two pretend places, oh dear, really dire, nothing like CalIfornia!
ReplyDeleteAnd re the gold stars I was looking at your red and white string with wonder, I can't find anything like that here.
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year Annie! I just have to say again that I love your design style. I just took down all of my Christmas decorations and while I am so happy to have some space, I am realizing I need some new accessories. I wish you lived closer so you could help me out! You have such a great eye for accessories!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
