*easy*

Sometimes this is all it takes to make someone happy.  Yesterday before my 12 year old arrived home from school I received an email letting me know that my son had volunteered to bring in treats for the Halloween party at school.  Well of course I was thrilled (he's my youngest and it's all slipping away too fast).  I started thinking of things we could make for the occasion.   But this is what he wanted...sometimes it doesn't have to be complicated to make someone happy.

  3. Enjoy the fleeting moment! I can tell you definitively that after your son leaves for college you will have no further use for rice krispy treats ever again...until, I guess, we have grandchildren! The class will devour these, they look yummy.

  5. The chewer the better!!! Your son made the best choice... I miss making treats for school parties! ! Crispy Treats are a favorite for our family, especially my Husband, who wants them instead of cake on his birthday. They look great staked with candles!

  6. Rice Krispie treats were my favorite growing up! I used to beg my mom to make them until I was old enough to make them myself. I like the pumpkin candy touch.
